The primary inspiration for our project as a whole was
the neighborhood Bo-01 of Malmo, Sweden. Home to Santiago Calatrava’s
Turning Torso and dwellings from many world-class
architects, this project is an example of a sustainable,
urban community that brings things back to a human
scale. The pedestrian-friendly development was
designed to be organic and intimate, promoting green
spaces for fun and relaxation alongside waterways and
bioswales to naturally filter water back into the bay.
The oddly shaped spaces make for a scintillating and
lively user experience, which we aim to capture as well.
